I posted a video on Tuesday, 10th September
For world suicide prevention day. This evening, I went for a walk with my brother to Beachy Head. It was a perfect opportunity to not just take in the stunning views along the cliffs but also to have an insight into the UK's most popular suicide destination.
My findings were a little surprising, to say the least. I share my feelings in the video.
It's an awful subject matter and one that's quite upsetting, so naturally, people will find it extremely difficult to talk about, but unfortunately, it's a subject that needs an awful lot of attention. The numbers are off the scale. I believe we can get the numbers down if we collectively encourage people to talk. Offer a safe place to do so and help rid the stigma behind it.
