Hey guys its Erik from MAPerformance.com and today I am going to show you how to install your new Cobb Tuning V3 Acccessport in your 2015 Ecoboost Mustang!

We are here inside our own Ecoboost Mustang. I have already opened up the Accessport as you saw in our previous video. We are going to go ahead and start up…

Start off with your foot off the clutch and hit engine start button once.

Figure out where you want to place the device if you want to mount it to the vehicle. We chose this spot for video purposes!

Just to the right of the hood latch is the OBD2 port, plug one end of your cable into that and the other into your device. Then start up your device.

Hit Okay

Then, Install access port to your vehicle.

Verify ignition is in the on position.

Please confirm your vehicle matches

Select your Stage and then desired Octane level.

Warning prompting you to make sure battery is plugged in. Just make sure you don’t do anything mechanical or electrical inside your car during the install.

That will start the install! Throughout programming the car will make noises, flash its headlights and possibly other weird things. Don’t panic! Its normal. If you do panic, you could lock up your car which is a headache. This is also a good reason to leave the car charger plugged in!

During this time the ECU data will be syncing with the Accessport.

After that is complete it will install the Accessport itself to your car.

Takes longer.

It will suggest to connect your Accessport to its software in order to receive updates on maps. Click okay.

Once installed it will prompt you to turn the ignition off.

That will complete the installation of your Cobb Accessport V3.

Now lets show off some of the features!

The first is gauges, the fun part! You can have up to 6 of them displayed on the unit at one time. The little green arrow in the upper right corner will allow you to setup the display. There are tons of options to swap around and there is even a shift light that can be customized to a certain RPM. Use the same arrow to can change the units, change the shift light and access your data logging as well.

Next is performance, here you can measure acceleration and overall performance of your vehicle, including 0-60 and quarter mile. Again, the green arrow in the upper right corner will change settings.

Troubleshooting! If you are having any issues… find probable solutions here! You can read trouble codes off the ECU if you have a check engine light. Resetting your ECU can also be done here.

Tune! This is the other fun part. Here you can select from up to 5 different OTS maps to match your driving style. Or get custom ones from a professional Cobb Tuner.

Uninstall. So when you need to UNINSTALL your Accessport will reload the original OEM map onto your vehicle. This means if you need service or anything like that they shouldn’t know that you had this connected.
If you need to service your car or sell the Accessport you can uninstall the Accessport and it will reinstall the original ECU settings.

Additionally, it has a light sensor to help you go from sunny days to dark nights without straining your eyes on a screen that is too bright or too dark.

When you're done hit off button, powers off in 10 seconds.
