The Nurture program is an initiative of Smart Waterloo Region Innovation Lab designed to directly involve young people in the food system. The program focuses on increasing healthy food access for youth, by youth, supporting youth-designed and tended Food Forest gardens at schools.
This video is part of a project of the Food System Roundtable of Waterloo Region to engage residents with their thriving local food system. Funding support has been provided by Community Foundations of Canada and the Canada Healthy Communities Initiative. Technical and design support for this project is provided by Open Food Network Canada.
