In this video, I share how I grow calendula flowers, how I harvest them, and how I use the petals to make calendula oil. Oil infused with calendula can be used as a skincare ingredient, as a safe herbal remedy, and even mixed into salad dressings and consumed. That’s how safe calendula is – you can eat it. It adds a natural golden color to baked goods, salads, and other dishes.

Calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis) are an easy-to-grow herbal treatment for skin complaints ranging from eczema, chapped lips, and burns to minor cuts and sores. It’s safe and effective for most people, and there are many studies showing how calendula extract helps speed up skin healing. There has also been some research into its use in anti-aging. All the more reason to use calendula flowers as a natural medicine and skincare herb.
