Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this MORryde Hitch Mounted Trailer Stabilizer for 2-Inch Trailer Hitches. Now this 2-inch hitch-mounted stabilizer system is going to reduce your trailer's movement while parked. It is going to work in conjunction with your, the stabilizers that you already have on your trailer. And it's gonna add a little bit more stabilization especially for when you are walking around inside of your trailer, reducing that back and forth motion and it's gonna enhance that lateral support. It's also gonna help you if you're experiencing high winds, keeping your trailer rock solid.
Now this is designed for fifth wheels, class C and class A motor homes, as well as truck campers. Now, I've already have this installed on my example of a 2-inch hitch to kind of give you an idea of what this is gonna look like installed. And these legs have 4 holes or 4 locking positions on the leg, on the inside of the leg that slides into the outer part of the leg. So you probably can't see it too well but we have 4 holes here or 4 locking positions. And for our purposes, I just have it secured in our second hole here in this leg.
And so you're gonna get 16 inches of adjustable height and they do adjust independently. And the individual leg length is gonna be from 28 inches to 40 inches and they do include these locking pins to lock those legs into place at the adjustment that you need. Now, once your legs are where you want them on the ground, you're going to use this included ratchet strap to help bring those legs in. So let me just give you a brief example of that. There are holes on the, on the plate, on the foot plate that you would put these hooks in.
Let me make sure that my strap is not twisted. And so I have those hooks in the holes of the foot plates. And then you would just begin to ratchet that and I'm not gonna do it all the way here, but you would just begin to ratchet that. And then that's going to begin to, begin to lift this up so that it would stabilize your trailer. And so it's gonna be very easy to use, very simple to use.
And when you are ready to hit the road then, you would just loosen the ratchet mechanism on your strap and then remove the strap. Let me just lay this aside here, and this can be folded up relatively easily. I'm gonna go ahead and go back to our wide view here. And so you would just begin to bring these legs up and there is a bracket right here that you are going to leave installed on one of these legs. And so I have it installed on this leg and this can be a little bit tricky. So I'm gonna remove this pin here and try to line this bracket up with the holes on the outer portion of this leg and run it through the holes on the inner portion of this leg. So this is probably the trickiest part of the whole setup but I've been doing this a few times here in preparation so it didn't go too bad there. So that's what it's going to look like when you're ready to hit the road. And again, you can drop these legs down a little bit lower if you want. And if you decide to leave this on when you are ready to hit the road, this is gonna be sitting about, about 31 inches long or tall. However, you'd like to describe that. You know, from the, from the portion that goes in your hitch but I would probably recommend removing it just because it is going to be kind of wobbly and loose. So let me go ahead and remove my pin and clip here and that's gonna come out relatively easily. Now, as you can see, with it pinned together like this, it's gonna be very easy to transport and maybe throw in storage. That's probably what I would recommend. So this system is going to work with trailers that have a clearance of 19 inches to 39 and 3 quarters inches of clearance. And that is gonna be measured from the center of the hitch pin hole. This is made in the USA. And again, this is for 2-inch trailer hitch receivers. And it is important to note that this does not include the pin and clip that you would need to secure this to your hitch receiver. So if you don't already have one, you can find one on our website using item number C21510. Now our customers seem to really like this system. Many of our customers mentioned that they we're impressed with how it did indeed reduce the rock and the sway in their trailer. And again, that it was just very easy to set up. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
