In this video, I replace all four shocks/struts on a 2008 Toyota RAV4 4WD using front quick struts and replacing the rear shocks. If your RAV4 is bouncing, clunking over bumps, riding rough, or feeling unstable, this is a full suspension refresh you can do at home.
Applies to most 3rd-gen Toyota RAV4s (commonly 2006–2012) with similar suspension design. (Always verify fitment for your exact trim/engine and 4WD vs FWD before ordering parts.)
What you’ll see in this walkthrough:
• Front quick strut removal & install (both sides)
• Rear shock removal & install (both sides)
• Tips to make the job easier and avoid common mistakes
• Final results after replacing all four corners
