How to Unlock Oeilvert in Final Fantasy Tactics Remake Ivalice Chronicles (Full Walkthrough)

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles has a secret sound interactive novel in the reading material section called Oeilvert. This mini-game (along with 3 others called Nanai's Histories, Mesa's Musings, and Enavia Chronicles) was removed in the international (English) version of Final Fantasy Tactics, and the PSP remake called War of the Lions. Earlier fan translations of the Japanese Original Final Fantasy Tactics called Oeilvert "Veil of WiYu" (misnamed). Video shows a full walkthrough of the official English translation of Oeilvert that was added back in the 2025 remake of Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles. Included are instructions on how to unlock this intriguing interactive spy novel that was in the original Japanese version of the game. The unlocking process involves waiting for the correct Zodiac period (shown in upper left of screen) by walking around on the map. Eventually, a new Errand at Walled City of Yardrow called "The Yardrow Melee" will be available to do. Finishing this errand will unlock Oeilvert.
