'i'm 22 now but i won't be for long' is an experimental short by Daniel Johnson Gray that explores themes of memories, nostalgia, and our relationship to still and moving image and how those two mediums differ in regards to how we process the passing of time.
Made primarily using 35mm black & white stills film, which he developed and scanned himself at home, Daniel finds a tactility and timelessness in the medium, and embraces the obfuscation of grain and blur to reflect how our brain muddies the past.
