Dawood Ibrahim, one of the most wanted criminals and a high-profile terrorist is believed to have been hospitalised due to poisoning, in Pakistan. According to reports, Dawood was admitted to the hospital due to his ill health.

Dawood Ibrahim is believed to be the mastermind of the 1993 Bombay bombings and was designated as a “global terrorist” by both Indian government as well as the US governments. The mastermind behind the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts along with his aides are charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967 by the National Investigative Agency (NIA). The Indian government believes that Dawood Ibrahim is currently living in Pakistan and Dawood faces numerous charges in India, including terrorism, hawala, organized crime, and drug trafficking.
