How to draw a 3D effect on Neurographic Art with markers and watercolor paint (Artist story 15)

Hi, I'm Lauren, an Artist and Photographer living in the Czech Republic. This video is the fifteenth in a series on finding courage to live your best life and do the things that make you happy. I hope all my videos to come will help inspire you to follow your dreams too.

The Backstory to this video (story 15) : Back in the summer of 2021, I decided to leave my job of 10 years in Prague, Czech Republic, pack up my life and move to the countryside to pursue being a full time creative. It's now been a few months and I am currently really inspired to explore creating art in different ways about my experiences in life and the continuous journey of healing. Overthinking and anxiety have been a constant part of my art journey, especially in the time of making big life changes. Exploring Neurographic Art has been a wonderful way of finding calm in the moment. Sometimes when making big life changes, it's easy to think and plan too far into the future, and often times forget to just be present and focus on the day I'm living right now. I believe making plans and having goals is definitely important, but looking too far into the future sometimes gets my mind racing and I get a little bit lost in it all. Making this particular Neurographic Art, with it's repetitive lines and drawing my focused attention, really helped me remember to just be here now in this moment because this moment right now is pretty special.
