I've been wanting to cover this song forever, it's one of my favourites. Jason Raize’s performance, who was the original Simba on Broadway, will forever be my favourite version of the song. May he rest in peace. I've always been too intimidated to sing this but I finally did it. It's technically not great but I wanted to keep my emotions raw and not overwork it like I usually do.
