BMW M135 xDrive F70 - Finally a Real Hothatch?

The modernized BMW 1 Series has received so many improvements that BMW has labeled it as the new fourth generation. The engine has been redesigned with more durable components, sharper response and smoother power delivery. It also meets emission standards better and is truly efficient. BMW has made an even bigger update to the chassis, which has new, stronger and lighter components for sharper and more precise control and you can really feel it during the first kilometers. The all-wheel drive has also been improved and the dual-clutch transmission is completely new, making it one of the best on the market today. Driving with the improved M135 is really better than before and also more fun. However, we miss a better position behind the wheel. The seat is too high, at least in the version with electric controls. We also don't like the overly neutral setting of the all-wheel drive chassis. It is really difficult to provoke the M135 into oversteer fun.
