This video will be on a commonwealth entrenching tool all of them are broad arrow marked the tool and handle are made in 1944 and are of the late war design. The pouch of a later era as the pattern 37 gear was fielded well after the adoption of the pattern that replaced it. This entrenching tool was loved or hated based on the environment and who used it. This tool serves in very close to this configuration through both world wars and for the better part of the 20th century so I had to get one.
