Snorkelling off the Sooke Bluffs 03 March! I grabbed a wetsuit and snorkel set, jumped on a bike a headed to Sooke Bluffs Park for an afternoon of fun! Not a lot of wildlife about - some curious seals that kept their distance, an otter fishing and a few of the usual suspects.
The adventure was cut a little short as a small swell picked up and stirred up the bottom (rare for here), so with the lower tide I set out to poke around the rocks at Muir Point.
Can't wait to come back and compare close to summer - usually more marine life about!
