At the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, David Letterman inducted his longtime friend Warren Zevon into the Rock Hall. David Letterman and Warren Zevon had a close relationship, as Warren Zevon appeared on David Letterman's Late Night multiple times over the years. During David Letterman's induction speech, he talked about their relationship and shared the story of Warren Zevon's last appearance on Late Night.
