Mountain Terraces Vineyard is a world-class private mountain estate vineyard. As dramatic as the wines it produces, the vineyard soars to 2,500 feet on the western slopes of the Mayacamas Mountain Range in the tiny Moon Mountain AVA. With breathtaking views of the entire Bay Area and the Sonoma Valley at the base of the mountain, it occupies 200 acres of the most dynamic mountain terrain. The vineyard is planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Grenache and Viognier.
Vineyard Tours
ATV vineyard tours are conducted by appointment only. While winding our way through the mountain vineyards, you will learn about the importance of each block, climate, soil type, row direction, root stocks, clones and of course, our 150-year history of time-tested farming practices while taking in the phenomenal views of the entire Sonoma Valley and San Francisco Bay Area.
