Foreigners STAY on a HOUSEBOAT in KASHMIR | BEST 24 hours in India (Hindi subtitles)

After lots of research, we found the perfect houseboat stay in Kashmir, India (कश्मीर). In this india vlog (भारत व्लॉग) We spent 24 beautiful hours on a kashmir houseboat (कश्मीर हाउसबोट) on Nigeen Lake Srinagar, otherwise known as Heaven on Earth (धरती पर स्वर्ग). Srinagar is home to 2 very popular lakes for houseboats, Dal lake (डल झील) and Nigeen Lake (निगीन झील). We chose to stay on Nigeen lake because we had heard it was a much quieter experience and has better views for sunrise. And we were so glad to spend our houseboat stay on Nigeen Lake. As foreigners in India (भारत में विदेशी), we can say that Srinagar had some of the most wonderful people we met in India!

On this houseboat tour, we take you around to all 5 bedrooms on the boat, including our upgraded suite, which was the best surprise. We then learned about how to identify quality rugs from experts in the field that’s been passed from generations. After that, we listened to the rain and enjoyed a little down time. For dinner, we had the greatest food we had in all of India in the most spectacular dining room we’ve ever been in.

In the morning after sunrise, we got to meet a jewelry expert, who had a wide variety of jewelry ranging from new to antique! After breakfast, we sadly said goodbye to our amazing houseboat and departed for the airport.

We absolutely had the greatest 24 hours on this houseboat stay Kashmir and we can’t wait to come back. The people we met, the hospitality, the backdrop, the room, everything was absolute perfection.
