On March 3, 1996, Alexander Mogilny returned to the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium for the first time since being traded. At 19:25 Mogilny scores a short-handed goal, his 52nd of the season, to give the Canucks a 1-0 lead. Ultimately, the Vancouver Canucks won the game 3-0.
