Shoes Hydro Dipping with Spray Paint - DIY

How to Hydro Dip Shoes tutorial for beginners (shoes water coloring). In this video, I am showing a step by step guide of how to hydro dip sneakers and the process is the same for all kind of other shoes.

Here is what we need:
paint respirators or paint mask to protect your lungs
a place for Painting - don't paint at home
a bucket of water
acrylic spray paints also called aerosol paint - with the paint colors you like
latex gloves
painting tape

Start by the hardest and most boring part - taping the shoes on the sections where you don't want to hydro dip. We suggest using painting tape because it's the easiest to cut and get rid of after. Once you are done taping comes the easy and cool part - hydro dipping!

Fill up a clean, empty bucket with about 70-80% of water. Then splash spray paint on little by little depending on how many colors you've chosen (two colors are best, but in my video, I mixed three colors). Then after fully sinking the shoes in the bucket, quickly remove all the paint around them (this is very important).

Take the shoes out and store them somewhere to dry. Leave the pair for about 24 hours, remove the tape and voila - you are done.

Warning: The spray paint while you are hydro dipping can spread in a few meters distance, so don't keep any sensitive objects nearby.
