GANDERBAL OBSERVES CONSTITUTION DAY WITH MASS PREAMBLE READING, MINI-MARATHON
GANDERBAL, Nov 26: Constitution Day was observed with great enthusiasm in Ganderbal today as hundreds of participants, including students, officials, and local residents, joined a mass reading of the Preamble followed by a mini-marathon organised to mark the occasion.
The event began at the Clock Tower, where participants collectively read the Preamble to reaffirm their commitment to the values enshrined in the Constitution of India. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic zeal as voices echoed in unison, highlighting the importance of constitutional duties and democratic ideals.
Following the ceremony, a mini-marathon was flagged off from the Clock Tower, culminating at Fatehpora Ground. Students, youth, and sports enthusiasts actively took part in the run, showcasing their spirit of unity and fitness.
Officials appreciated the active participation of the public and emphasised the significance of spreading constitutional awareness among younger generations. The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates and appreciation to the participants.
