Aladdin is pretty busted in terms of speed and some people think his carpet needs to be nerfed.
Personally, I think he’s supposed to be like this. There’s a tradeoff for speed in exchange for defensive abilities, so Aladdin is easier to shut down than other characters in theory. But if Aladdin gets ahead, chances are you can’t catch up.
I’m still on the fence on whether he needs to be nerfed or not. Characters like Jessie and Stitch are still big problems in ranked, both of which are capable of shutting down Aladdin.
The power creep is real though. Aladdin seems to beat Mike Wazowski with relative ease, and other speedsters seem to struggle against Aladdin who is a weird trickster/speedster hybrid.
