Pulp Fiction is a 1994 crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It's known for its nonlinear storytelling, sharp dialogue, and unforgettable characters. The movie weaves together several interrelated stories involving criminals in Los Angeles. One plot follows hitmen Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, who work for a gangster named Marsellus Wallace and get into bizarre and violent situations while carrying out their duties. Another follows Vincent taking Wallace’s wife Mia out for the evening, which turns chaotic after she overdoses. There's also the story of a boxer named Butch Coolidge, who double-crosses Wallace after being paid to throw a fight, leading to a brutal and strange series of events. The film jumps around in time, showing different perspectives and linking characters in unexpected ways. John Travolta played Vincent, Samuel L. Jackson played Jules, Uma Thurman played Mia, Bruce Willis played Butch, and Ving Rhames played Marsellus. The movie became a cultural phenomenon for its unique structure, stylish direction, and unforgettable scenes, and it won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and earned Tarantino an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
Reservoir Dogs is Quentin Tarantino’s first feature film, released in 1992. It’s a crime thriller about a group of criminals who are brought together by a man named Joe Cabot and his son "Nice Guy" Eddie to carry out a diamond heist. Each member of the group is given a color-based alias like Mr. White, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink, Mr. Brown, and Mr. Blue so they don’t know each other’s real names. But the heist goes terribly wrong, and most of the film takes place after the failed robbery as the survivors regroup at a warehouse and try to figure out what went wrong. Tension builds as they suspect that one of them is an undercover cop. The film is famous for its brutal violence, sharp dialogue, and nonlinear structure. Harvey Keitel played Mr. White, Tim Roth played Mr. Orange, Michael Madsen played Mr. Blonde, Steve Buscemi played Mr. Pink, Quentin Tarantino himself played Mr. Brown, and Edward Bunker played Mr. Blue. Lawrence Tierney played Joe, and Chris Penn played Nice Guy Eddie. The movie became a cult classic and launched Tarantino’s career.
Vic Vega, also known as Mr. Blonde, is a character from Reservoir Dogs played by Michael Madsen. He’s one of the criminals hired for the diamond heist and is known for being calm and quiet—but also dangerously unhinged. After the heist goes wrong, Vic returns to the warehouse with a kidnapped cop and ends up torturing him in one of the film’s most infamous scenes. He dances to the song "Stuck in the Middle with You" while cutting off the cop’s ear, showing just how sadistic he can be. Despite his loyalty to Joe and Eddie, his violent behavior leads to major consequences for the group.
Vincent Vega is Vic's brother and appears in Pulp Fiction, played by John Travolta. He’s a hitman who works for Marsellus Wallace alongside his partner Jules. Vincent is laid-back but reckless, and he gets involved in a number of dangerous situations, including accidentally shooting someone in a car and taking Mia Wallace out for dinner, which ends in her overdose. He also appears in the gold watch storyline involving Butch, where things don’t end well for him. Vincent and Vic were supposed to be in a spin-off movie called Double V Vega, which would’ve explored their backstory, but it was never made because both actors aged out of playing younger versions of their characters.
