AI Navigation 2.0 - Flying NPCs

Unity’s AI Navigation system enables NPCs to move intelligently through game environments by calculating optimal paths and avoiding obstacles. It’s a powerful tool that can be used in a variety of creative ways to design compelling gameplay.
In this video, we demonstrate one way to implement flying creatures that chase the player while navigating around obstacles. You’ll learn how to use different NavMesh Agent Types to define custom movement rules for various NPCs, and how to combine them with NavMesh Links to enable more dynamic pathfinding behavior.
