Pandesal is probably the most popular bread in the Philippines. Widely enjoyed throughout the day for breakfast, as a snack or as part of a larger meal. Pandesal can be eaten plain or with filling. It is best to have it while freshly hot from the oven. Common fillings or palaman for pandesal are a slice of cheese, coco jam, butter, and liver spread. In this recipe, I used slices of cheese. Perfect for breakfast or as a snack!

1 tbsp white sugar
2 tsp dry yeast
3 cups all-purpose flour
