My hardest race in 2025.
Herd Team Slippery Ponies: Michael HOSP, Fat Shark, Carsten Bech, Ed Thomson, Ernst Lekies.
I got no sense of team spirit, team race planning, team anything. But I was an outsider, a guest. Through the race 99.9% was only a bit of breathing on DIscord.
Tough climbs. I assumed points at the top so pushed. Next time up I was the wiser so took it easier.
I get the impression that the extremes of FRR effort may have helped legs have more vim today than usual.
Pretty much out of gas and a tad disappointed by the end, so no sprint.
I think job done as far as this team is concerned.
Nuisance FTP and race score increase. Now just recover recover before the Thur TTT.
