The Asus RTX 5080 TUF Gaming OC represents the mid-tier graphics card model for the company — below the ROG, but above the Prime. Like everything else from Nvidia, AMD, and Intel right now, it’s almost impossible to actually find these in stock at anything close to MSRP.
And speaking of MSRP, this card is officially priced at well over $1000. I think the MSRP right now is closer to $1250, give or take, and you would be lucky to find one for that price. Most RTX 5080 cards are selling for over $1800 on places like eBay.
This is a rather large graphics card, over three slots in width and plenty long and tall as well. It weighs about 2kg. You will definitely want a roomier case to run this thing. There might be some mini-ITX cases that could fit it, but I think trying to cram this much heat and power into mini-ITX is folly. YMMV.
