My Exciting Explore To The Abandoned Cowdale Quarry With Secret Steps

Today (23/06/2025) I explored The Abandoned Cowdale Quarry & surrounding area to see what was left of it!!!
The Cowdale quarry - There was a rope worked incline bits of which were lying about - rope rollers and such - and at the top the remains of a winding house. It was electrically powered but next to it was an old Cornish boiler and bits of pipework. The incline bank was riveted by a fascinating assemblage of timbers with bearings and bits of kit. It seems to be from some sort of dismantled crushing plant. Improbably the buildings were in the Egyptian style, the power house looking for all the world like a temple. It was listed but nonetheless demolished.
