It’s been 2 years since I launched this YouTube channel—and I honestly can’t believe we’ve hit 10,000 subscribers! 🎉
When I started, I just wanted to share my everyday life: building our homestead, growing a garden, raising chickens, rabbits, and quail, harvesting our own meat, and of course, sharing lots and lots of home-cooked recipes. Somewhere along the way, I also shared my shift into a mostly meat-based way of eating—not strictly carnivore, because I still love my spices and the occasional veggie from the garden. 😉
This channel was never meant to fit into one box. It’s just real life here in Northern Ontario—and the fact that so many of you have shown up, watched, commented, and subscribed… I’m beyond humbled. THANK YOU for being part of this journey.
💥 Homestead News: We’re STAYING!
We’ve met the new neighbours and they’re not turning the land into an industrial site (phew!). They’re actually settling in for retirement, and we couldn’t be happier. This property is our home—and we’re looking forward to many more seasons here.
