I'm still on the quest to get the instrument cluster upgraded on my VW Jetta Mk5 and I think I have some good leads to get things working. The only thing left is the FVDI/AVDI software which I have ordered already from China. Before I can get that to work though, I need to have this Bench Connector Cable that will enable me to read, write and modify important data on the cluster. This video shows how you can make your own bench connector cable by yourself.
