Faulty Dell latitude E7240 was working from charger without battery but when battery was attached laptop turned off. It was
not charging battery and Current protection was kicked in with battery when switched on. If turned off charger voltage 19V was present when battery was attached but attempt to turn on laptop caused charger to get 0V due to overcurrent from charger. If battery was charged in other laptop then laptop was working from battery.
