Mahaparinirvan | A Short Documentary

On the 6th of December, millions gather in Mumbai to remember the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. But before the crowds and the chaos, the journey begins in the silence of a home.

"Mahaparinirvan" is a short documentary that explores the 70th death anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar not just as a historical event, but as a personal pilgrimage. Narrated by my father, the film travels from quiet individual rituals to the pulsing energy of the streets, witnessing the "city within a city" that rises to honor a legacy.
