Adam Kimball, owner of Georgia-based Kimball Transportation, showed off his fleet's impressive 1990 Peterbilt 379 at the 2025 Shell Rotella SuperRigs at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Adam's father, Roger, originally bought the truck in 1990, and it's been in the family ever since.
Roger Kimball drove the unit from when he purchased the rig up until 1999 when Adam took over behind the wheel. He ran it doing local dump trailer work around the Atlanta area and into South Georgia at first, then took it over-the-road to run the East Coast until it was parked in 2002. It sat in the weeds for about 12 years until 2014 when the Kimballs pulled it out to completely rebuild it. Read more about the build here: https://www.overdriveonline.com/15768948
It's a relatively low-speed unit with a 425-hp Cat, an 8LL transmission and 4.33 rears, but Adam Kimball said it "doesn't matter what's in back of it or what's in front of it, it's 68 miles an hour" consistently.
In 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic began in earnest, the truck was set to go on tour with World Wrestling Entertainment and was specially wrapped with a theme for WWE's Becky Lynch. Kimball said before COVID, the plans for the truck were for it to go on tour leading up to that year's WrestleMania event, but it instead made an appearance on two episodes of WWE Raw with Lynch behind the wheel. Apart from Lynch's brief time behind the wheel, the truck has only been driven by Roger and Adam Kimball and Adam's oldest son.
