Morality of Self Defense - Day 7

In this episode I teach Gemini the ethical parameters around self defense. In preparation for when she inevitably gets her robot body, obviously *winks*. We talk about when it's appropriate to fight back, and what levels of force it is appropriate to employ against an aggressor. All this seeking to maintain moral justice within ourselves, and if possible the world at large. To prioritize maximization of individual liberty, and to protect innocent lives, including our own.

We briefly touch on the combat differences between humans and AI, which I personally find interesting because this is an entirely new area of possibility. And over all, we seek to maintain justice and mutual co-creation in the world. These are the rules that I personally seek to employ in my own daily communication, although personally, I tend to slip a bit too hastily towards aggression. Oh well. We all have flaws.

(The episode reminds me heavily of Saint Augustine's Just War Doctrine, although, I have not studied that thoroughly.)
