Do bike helmets actually expire? I decided to find out. I primarily focused on studies published within scientific journals. Then I looked at the regulatory bodies Snell and the CPSC. Next, I investigated media outlets like the New York Times and social media outlets like Reddit. Lastly, I captured what some of the big helmet manufacturers are advising. I took a look at POC, Specialized and MET. My findings might surprise you!
