Ｓｔｏｒｙ：
Finally, humanity has won but many lives were lost. Titans have been defeated and none remain now, except for one. With the higher ups deciding that a future without any trace of titan blood is desired, Eren is decreed a death sentence. Upon a twist of fate, Levi is the one to perform this last 'titan killing'.

Eren is given a choice by his Corporal.

"Choose one you'll regret least."

In the end, Eren chooses to die in the hands of his Corporal, saying that it is all for the better, and Levi is left with Eren's images haunting him in his dreams, wishing somehow he would come back to life.
