Issei Sagawa, also known as Bang or Kobe the Cannibal, was a Japanese nymphomaniac, cannibal, and necrophiliac murderer best known for the murder of Renée Hartevelt in Paris in 1981. He murdered Hartevelt and then mutilated her, ate her flesh, and had sex with her over a period of several days.
