CEHV is pleased to host the second conference in our Work COMPAS program. This conference, entitled “The Future of Work,” will explore questions about the opportunities and challenges facing individuals and society in a rapidly changing work environment.
This event is part of a larger series we call “Conversations on Morality, Politics, and Society” (COMPAS). Over the years COMPAS has supported interdisciplinary exchange on difficult social issues with special attention to underlying ethical challenges. Last year we celebrated 10 years of this program with a series called COMPAS Directions that reflected on earlier programs on immigration, inequality, religion in public life, technology, sustainability, and more. We are excited this year to address the theme of work. Our fall conference focused on "The Meaning of Work."
Featuring: Keynote Speaker Darrick Hamilton, (Henry Cohen Professor of Economics and Urban Policy, The New School), Moderated by Piers Turner (Philosophy, CEHV Co-Director, Ohio State)
