Welcome back to Route 48!
This episode covers my early morning ride from Periyakulam to Kodaikanal, one of the most scenic hill climbs in South India.
I start from Periyakulam when the roads are quiet and cool. Within minutes, I reach the ghat section, where the real fun begins. After a quick tea break, I continue climbing through twisting mountain roads surrounded by lush greenery.
Along the way, I take short breaks to soak in the views, enjoy the fresh hill air, and experience the pure joy of riding through the Western Ghats. I pass through a few small hillside towns, capturing their charm and calm.
As I approach Kodaikanal, I stop at the iconic Silver Cascade Waterfall — sipping hot tea and munching on crispy vadas by the roadside.
Finally, I ride into Kodaikanal town, check into my room, and end the vlog for the day — wrapping up a peaceful and scenic hill-climb episode.
