I did a day trip to Spences Bridge on July 28th, 2025. There was no smoke going to Spences Bridge passing thought Lytton, but coming back around 3:10 pm there seemed to be the start of a large forest fire. Cantilever Bar is the location of the fire which is about 10km south of Lytton. From what I saw, the fire looks to have started near the railroad.
