We humans have complete control over our planet and the animals that we share this planet with, and this often results in us eradicating animals that are an inconvenience.
We like a tendency for displacing and hunting animals that could potentially end our lives, and of course we cause extinctions by altering the courses of river, introducing species, and polluting and changing the climate.
These human related factors have led to certain animals disappearing from ecosystems that they have roamed across for thousands of years, and this has allowed other animals to take their place
If humans were to somehow suddenly disappear off the face of the earth, which apex predators would take up the role of top dog, and which species would reclaim the land that was stolen from them?
In today's video I will be trying to answer these questions and more, as I'll be using data to try and predict which apex predators would take over a planet devoid of humans.
