"Lo," as in Lo and Behold. This was the first message ever on the internet. On Oct. 29th, 1969, as scientists between UCLA and Stanford attempted to communicate over the first computer network, the system crashed. The network's keyword, "login," was cut short to "lo." Nearly half a century later, Dr. Leonard Kleinrock, the UCLA supervisor of that very communication, not only reflects on that first message, but actively works towards contributing to the future of the internet.
