What an incredible day out on the reef! We headed offshore from Cairns and dropped lines in about 50 metres of water, chasing whatever would bite — and it did not disappoint. I ended up catching a few species I’ve never hooked before, and the excitement was unreal.
The water was crystal clear, the weather perfect, and the fishing action kept us busy the whole time. There’s just something special about fishing the Great Barrier Reef — every drop feels like you’re about to catch something amazing.
