KONE Retail Elevator @ Etihad Towers T3, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Avenue at Etihad Towers is a high-end retail mall that occupies floors P1 and P2 of the development's Tower 3. Its tenants mainly consisted of outposts from both local and global luxury fashion brands and specialty stores. A supermarket occupied the northern side of floor P1, which used to be a Waitrose at the time of visit but replaced by the first Abu Dhabi store of French supermarket chain Monoprix in 2023. Entrance to the mall was via a set of doors next to the office entrance on floor P2, with an additional side entrance available next to the VIP parking lot on the western side of P1. The mall was served by a single passenger elevator at the western side of the podium at the base of Tower 3 featured in this video, alongside a service elevator shared with the convention center; the other set of three MRL elevators at the center of the tower as well as the podium elevators in Tower 2 also provided access to the mall premises as well. The mall passenger elevator was also a MonoSpace installation as with the other elevators serving the podium floors in Tower 3 and elsewhere in the complex, and provided access to both floors of the mall as well as all of the underground parking levels. It had the same fixtures as those elevators, and had a similar-looking cab design scheme as the Tower 2 podium elevators, with side walls and floors covered with polished marble and rear wall finished with brown quartzite and dark-colored ceramic. There was not much to fault, with smooth ride quality and efficient leveling speed.
