A bagging trip to Beinn Bhuidhe at the end of May, just at the right time to see Glen Fyne glowing purple with blue bells.
The walk starts just off the A83, not far from the rest and be thankful. It was a long walk up the glen to the foot of the mountain but i had the "heelin coo's" and the deer from the nearby deer farm for company.
The hill itself was great! Even though the fog stuck to me like a bad smell through the day, the walk along the edges of a small gorge at the start before emerging onto a flat bog with the mountain summit looming before me kept things interesting.
The clouds finally shifted on the way back down giving be some glimpses down Glen Fyne.
All in all, a long one but a great one!
