Originally dispatched as some sort of brush fire in the woods in a Progress Fire Company Box area led to the discovery of a building on fire in the City of Harrisburg, Box 1-3 at the old Harrisburg State Hospital. Units from Progress Fire Company and Harrisburg Bureau of Fire worked together with numerous mutual aid companies from Perry, Dauphin, Cumberland, and York Counties to bring the blaze under control. Units from Lebanon, York, Dauphin, Perry, and Cumberland Counties also assisted with back filling stations to provide coverage to the area.
