Senate Democrats say they will reject GOP's funding bill as shutdown draws near. The House on Tuesday narrowly approved a continuing resolution to keep the government funded through the end of September. He noted that the US Secretary of State reaffirmed U.S. policy toward Tibet remains unchanged and that aid matters are under review. Duterte, who led the Philippines from 2016 to 2022, will face allegations of crimes against humanity for overseeing death squads in his anti-drugs crackdown.
