Fishing off Inflatable Paddleboard in Manitoba

Hey guys!

Today we were out fishing in willow creek Manitoba, this spot is usually loaded with more than pike. With the carp spawning I assume the fish like drum, walleye, perch and saugers have ran off because they startle easy. So after I hit up the open water to find no fish I came back to see if maybe somewhere trapped on the back end by the carp!

Sure enough we found some pike and got our hands wet… or should I say slimy!!

Today we rocked the trusty medium heavy ​⁠‪@UglyStikTV‬ rod, loaded with braided line and a floro end, while throwing a wide range of lures. The one that caught the fish was the twisted tails in yellow. I stuck those on jigs, and neg heads!

What do you catch your pike on or are they not picket like these guys haha!
