Suzlon Energy is back in focus after foreign institutional investors increased their stake from 22.7% in the September quarter to 23.7% in December, the highest level in the last four quarters. Prashanth Tapse, Senior VP – Research Analyst at Mehta Equities, said valuations have turned attractive after the stock’s correction, with comfort emerging across parameters like price-to-book, return ratios and earnings multiples. He remains optimistic on Suzlon’s long-term prospects, citing rising capex in the wind energy space and increasing institutional confidence despite near-term volatility.
