Patients with Parkinson’s Disease achieved a significant improvement in their tremors, mobility, and other physical symptoms after focused ultrasound treatment, according to a University of Maryland study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
The multi-center study led by the University of Maryland School of Medicine found that focused ultrasound is safe and effective, and improved symptoms for most patients.
