Lowrance Recon Trolling Motor Remote Features

The Lowrance Recon Trolling Motor has a lot of features and customization options that walleye anglers can really appreciate. The remote in particular has some amazing design features including a free steer joy stick that can be easily operated with one hand. This video highlights some of the remote features I really find valuable.

The remote features a joy stick for steering or for using the jog feature and also has buttons for propulsion, anchor and course heading or auto pilot. The back of the remote features two programmable buttons that allow four commands with each having a short and long press command. You can customize these commands that include way point creation, Power Pole up or down and forward range and down range on Active Target.

The LED Screen displays mode, battery indication for both remote and trolling motor, propulsion percentage and ground speed. The remote operates with two double A batteries.

You can program the remote or customize the remote with three options that include a menu on the remote, synched HDS Pro or with the Lowrance App.
